Supported Employment This service is appropriate for individuals who need placement and follow along support in the community job.  After a job match is made, a RISE Job Coach goes on the job with the individual to assist with initial training.  After the person can perform the job requirements, the Job Coach gradually fades from the worksite.  If follow-up is necessary the Job Coach is available to offer ongoing support to both the individual and the employer for as long as necessary to maintain successful employment.

Performance Based Placement This is for the individual who does not require the more intensive servesc offered under Supported Employment.  Services provided under this program may include job seeking skills, resume preparation, career assessments, job development and placement.  Individuals are encouraged to assume an active role in the completition of the Performance Based Placement process.  The department stresses good job matches which help in assuring long-term job placement.
